Privacy First: Why Your Temperature Data Stays on Your Device

By Mehmet Ali Demir ·

Health-related notes are personal. Here is exactly how Temperature Checker keeps your temperature data private - on the app and on the website.

Your records stay on your device

In the app, the readings, notes, and profiles you enter are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or store your health data on a server, and you do not need an account to use it. You stay in control of your own records, and removing the app deletes its local data.

Website tools run in your browser

Everything you type into the free tools - the log template, the converter, the summary tool, and the comfort checklist - stays in your browser. It is never sent to us. Refreshing or closing the page clears it.

What we do measure

To improve the site, we use privacy-respecting analytics that look at aggregate usage - which pages are popular, for example - never your temperature readings. The details, including how to opt out, are in our Privacy Policy.

Why this matters

Keeping personal records should not mean handing them over. A private log is more trustworthy and, frankly, more useful - it is yours. That is the standard we hold ourselves to, described further on the about page.

Keep your temperature log private on iPhone

Record readings from your thermometer, add notes, and organize history for yourself, family, and pets - all stored privately on your device.
